In 1948, the Meditation Chapel was constructed by Mr. and Mrs. Ross Beason as a memorial to their son and other Utah sons who lost their lives in World War II. Made of Georgian marble, the chapel resembles a Greek temple and is adorned with a copper roof and sculpted bronze doors.
